Good news!

This just in - we have a new slew of great photos from Eugene that will be going up over time. Included are photos of the Bush Tetras, XTC, the 2 Timers, Brains, Circus Mort, Delta 5, Fad Gadget, Fashion, Patti Smith, the Senders, the Stilletos, and Walter Stedding!

Also, we're happy to announce that Eugene's photos will be used in a forthcoming documentary about the late 70's New York post punk scene called Blank City. Keep your eyes on this space for more news!

Ten days left for Eugene Merinov exhibit

Only 10 days left to see the Eugene Merinov exhibit at Etherea Records in NYC if you haven't seen it yet. Original prints and reproductions are available for order if desired - all hand printed by Eugene himself.

What will happen after the show? Who knows? Not me. Keep your eye on this space.

Our friend, John, over at Cerysmatic (the contemporary online record of all things Factory Records), was nice enough to post about Eugene's New Order photos. Thanks John!

Eugene on Bauhausmusik

Eugene's most well known image is that of Bauhaus' Peter Murphy holding a cymbal in front of his face at a NYC gig in 1981. This powerful image was then used by Bauhaus for the cover of their 1981 live album, Press the Eject and Give Me the Tape. We are pleased that Bauhaus themselves have been made aware of the current situation.
